It was taken a very long time ago
At first it seems to be a collage of colours in a photograph:
carefully handled and in pristine condition;
then, as you contemplate it you see that it embodies the joy and bliss of growing up.
In the background there is a drawing of the world and several Canadian flags.
(The photograph was taken the day I graduated from pre-school.
I am on the end waiting anxiously for my hand to shaken and to receive my certificate. Watching as one by one each child before me is congratulated, grinning with a big smile as wide as the sky...just waiting for it to be my turn.

Binary Opposite Song: Old
"Old Age" by Nirvana is the other binary opposite song I chose They are two opposites because
Old age represents old people because Kurt Cobain the lead singer is talking about old people and how he is about to die because he says he has "one more day to complete my service". He also explains how sad and lonely it is to be an old person and how sad this life is. One of the lines he says is "Somday im gonna find a way/Its over" explaining that his time is over and he has lived his life. Although Kurt was in his twenties when he wrote this song, he often felt old, tired, and weak because he had stomach problems and a heroin addiction. He is comparing his drug addicted life to the life of an old person and saying that he feels the same as a 70 year old man. In the song he says "you knew/you read/you flew". He is looking back on his life and seeing all the things he did when he was young and strong, much like an old person would.

Binary Opposite Song: Youth
One of the binary opposite songs I chose was "Only the young" by Brandon Flowers. Only the young is talking about fresh starts and youth, and all the opportuinties and choices that lie ahead of young people. He also says "the cradle of your whole life". To me the cradle is a symbol for a new born because thats where they would sleep. This song is all about beginnings and I think it is a good song for teens and young adults to relate to. Even someone who is a little bit older than that can relate to it too because Brandon says "baby you can start again", You can rebuild or restart your life and move on from whatever problems you were struggling with in the past. To me thats what this song is all about.

Anxiousness is vibrant green like the vomit on your shirt and butterflies in your stomach

It looks like my parents face before my report comes out
